Privacy Policy

Short version: We collect only what we need to provide our Services. If you connect third-party platforms, we access the data you authorize to provide the features you request. We do not sell personal information.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Ringinx, Inc. ("Ringinx", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, company name, role, and related identifiers.
  • Service usage data: log data (IP address, timestamps, pages and actions), device and browser data, and diagnostic events.
  • Customer content you provide: data you upload or submit to the Services, including data processed by agents on your behalf.
  • Connected platform data (if you authorize it): data from third-party platforms you choose to connect (for example, cloud providers, communication tools, or commerce platforms), limited to the permissions you grant.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts.
  • Analyze performance, generate reports, and improve features.
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How we share information

  • Service providers / sub-processors: vendors who help us operate the Services. They may access information only to perform services for us. Our current sub-processors are listed on our Security page.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
  • With your direction: when you explicitly ask us to share or integrate.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. Because we do not sell or share personal information, we do not provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals are not applicable to this website.

5. AI model providers

Ringinx uses third-party AI model providers (currently OpenAI) as sub-processors to perform model inference on customer requests. Customer data submitted to OpenAI through the OpenAI API is not used to train OpenAI's models, in accordance with OpenAI's API data usage policy.

6. Third-party platforms and permissions

If you connect third-party platforms, we access and process data in accordance with your authorization and the permissions you grant. You can typically revoke access at any time through the platform's settings and/or within the Services.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The one exception is our request access form, which loads an hCaptcha anti-spam widget (provided through Web3Forms). hCaptcha may set its own cookies or use similar browser storage to distinguish humans from automated abuse. That processing is governed by the hCaptcha and Web3Forms privacy policies. No other page loads third-party scripts or sets cookies.

Do Not Track. We do not track visitors across third-party websites, and we do not permit third parties to collect personal information about your online activity across different sites through this website. Because we do not track, we do not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

8. Data retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then delete or de-identify it, except where retention is required by law or contract. By category:

  • Access-request contact data (name, work email, organization, role): retained while your request and any resulting relationship are active; if access is not granted, deleted within 24 months of the request.
  • Account data: retained while your account is active and, following account closure, for up to 90 days to allow for recovery requests, after which it is deleted.
  • Service usage and log data: retained for a limited period consistent with security and operational needs (see the Security page for log retention).

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. Details of our security practices are described on our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

Customer data is stored in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:

  • Accessing, correcting, or deleting your information.
  • Objecting to or restricting certain processing.
  • Requesting a copy or portability of certain information.

12. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Know and access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed.
  • Delete: request deletion of your personal information.
  • Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of sale/sharing: we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information: the only sensitive personal information we handle is your account login credentials, used solely to provide and secure the Services; we do not use it for any purpose that would trigger the right to limit.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise. Submit a request by email to legal@ringinx.com. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days, extendable where permitted). An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83). We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Minors. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.

13. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email.
